Urgent requirement for a Clinical Negligence Lawyer in Avon to undertake a 12-month fixed term contract to commence in May 2021.

Joining a highly specialised team based in the practices Bristol office, the successful lawyer will be able to hit the ground running, managing a varied and often complex caseload of clinical negligence matters from instruction to resolution. Representing clients suffering from a broad range of injuries, the successful applicant will progress cases swiftly whilst maintaining the firms first class legal services.

Responsibilities

  • Multi-track caseload
  • Conducting client interviews
  • Misdiagnosis claims
  • Delayed diagnosis of cancer
  • Birth injury claims
  • Hospital negligence
  • Investigations
  • Drafting witness statements
  • Preparing cases for trials and conferences


The Candidate


  • Qualified solicitors and legal executives with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE
  • Technically proficient in clinical negligence matters
  • Available from May 2021 for a period of 12 months
  • Consider yourself to be personable, approachable and detail orientated
  • Highly organised, working well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Strives for high standards in their work
  • A team player with a flair for business development
