Sport Wales is the national organisation responsible for developing and promoting sport and physical activity in Wales.  We are the main adviser on sporting matters to the Welsh Government and are responsible for distributing National Lottery funds. WHAT YOU’LL DO

Technology is playing an ever-increasing role in people's relationship with technology. A recent survey by Sport Wales found that 30% of people had taken part in a home workout during lockdown, and of those 66% had used You Tube.

Whether it’s promoting sport, providing coaching or training, online fitness sessions or customer engagement, technology and online solutions are now a key component for the sport sector in Wales.

This is a new role within Sport Wales’ digital team, leading on digital marketing. You’ll have responsibility for work including:

  • Developing our web presence,
  • Online learning
  • Customer relationship management.

In a small but busy team, your role will support our work to reach-out to both grassroots and elite sport, while playing a part in supporting our key partners.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

We are looking for candidates who have Experience of filming and editing videos to produce high quality content in a professional capacity as well as Expert knowledge of a creating SEO-optimised content, PPC, email marketing and tracking and analysing metrics that affect website traffic. You will need to have 2 years minimum experience in a digital communications role.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable, although not essential. If you have the presence and personality to work in a high performing team as well as the passion and drive to succeed, then we would love to hear from you.
