React Software Engineer

Up to £40,000 depending on experience, plus annual bonus, plus equity

You’ll design and build our user interface with other engineers and designers to provide strong customer-focused experiences.  You’ll work closely with the Product and Backend teams to develop new features, whilst keeping our product up-to-date using the latest frontend technologies (such as React and ES6) and practice disciplined software engineering - automated testing, code reviews and writing beautiful, readable code.

With a BSc or MSc in Computer Science or equivalent (or related industry experience) you will be highly skilled and have demonstrable experience (2 years) in:

• React + Redux
• Typescript
• CSS Preprocessors (Sass, Less)
• JavaScript development, understanding of ES6 concepts Developing scalable web applications
• the DOM, new HTML5 constructs, and CSS3
• Single Page Web Application development
• Building accessible mobile web applications
• Developing features that create fulfilling user experiences

Experience with the following would be beneficial:

• React Native
• Working in an agile environment
• JS testing frameworks (Cypress, Jest)
• Material UI
• AWS
